A SUPERVERSE STUDIOS X VOODOO TIKI TEQUILA COLLABORATION
LIMITED TO ELEVEN (11) UNCUT SHEETS. These uncut card sheets (and the eventual card sets thereafter) were commissioned as a test of the METALFX printing technology, prior to producing ZOOM SUIT #1 in full METALFX. However, for DATACHROME (the providers of the METALFX Technology), even a “short” print run would mean Five Thousand (5,000) card sheets. With two (2) full card sets on each sheet, that meant 10,000 card sets! WAY MORE THAN SUPERVERSE EVER IMAGINED NECESSARY.
The answer was to share the space on the card sheets with another company. John Taddeo’s tequila company stepped in and paid to use half of each sheet, resulting probably the oddest comic book crossover of all time – Comic Books and Tequila.
