ZOOM SUIT SPLITS THE COUNTRY DOWN THE MIDDLE

Award-Winning Short Film to Appear in Chicago and Oklahoma

April 21, 2006, Palm Beach, FL – John Taddeo’s award-winning animated short film, Zoom Suit, has been selected to screen at two more major film festivals, the Chicago Really Short Film Fest in Chicago, Illinois on April 22 and the Dead Center Film Festival in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 7-11.

“With the comic version of Zoom Suit set to hit stores on Wednesday, it’s awesome that the film is still being accepted into film fests at the rate it is,” said Zoom Suit creator, John Taddeo. “This has been an exhausting process, but worth every second.”

Held at the Abbey Pub on W. Grace St. in Chicago, the Chicago Really Short Film Fest is a night of short films, live performance art and live music. No film at the festival is longer than 15 minutes and all range from narrative, to animation, to music video, to documentary.

The Dead Center Film Festival, named that because of Oklahoma City’s geographic location within the United States, was founded in 2001 with a mission of promoting the independent film arts. Designed to inspire growth in the local film industry and energize visiting film professionals, the Dead Center Film Festival encourages the film arts through screenings, discussions, competition, special events, panels and focused programming. The festival projects attendance of over 3500 film enthusiasts viewing over 100 films at eight different locations throughout downtown Oklahoma City.

Zoom Suit #1, the premiere issue of the four issue limited series, is slated to hit comic shops April 26th. The series is officially sold out at the publisher and will be allocated to comic shops.
