ZOOM SUIT FEATURED IN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL

Official Selection Brings Total Film Festival Appearances to Over 60

March 21, 2006, Palm Beach, FL – Zoom Suit has been named an official selection of the Third Annual Danville International Children’s Film Festival running May 19-21, 2006. The selection marks the sixty-second film festival appearance of the award-winning animated short since its premiere in April, 2005.

“The film festivals have been a spectacular way to expose the comics hobby to new fans,” said John Taddeo, Zoom Suit creator. “It’s like reaching out and dragging in new readers, one headlock at a time.”

Located approximately 40 miles east of San Francisco, Danville is in the center of California’s San Ramon Valley. The Danville International Children’s Film Festival is a unique opportunity for fans to view over 75 films, some made for children and others made by children. Last year, the event brought over 4,500 film enthusiasts to enjoy screenings of independent films in three locations, special events, autograph sessions, seminars for filmmakers and actors, and an awards ceremony.

The Danville International Children’s Film Festival is the only one of its kind in the Western United States and is presented by the California Independent Film Festival Association and the Town of Danville. Visit the website at www.dicff.org for more information.

Copies of the Zoom Suit #1 comic book, shipping April 26, were originally intended to be brought to the festival for distribution. However, the issue completely sold out of its print run of 20,000 and will be allocated to comic shops.

“We printed 5,000 copies for events such as this, but the comic shop orders came in triple our estimation,” said Taddeo. “Kicking in every copy we had planned for film festivals we are still short thousands.”
